Maintenance of your arms

There are different ways to clean your weapon after your shooting session it must be cleaned after each session to prevent corrosion and fouling it.

You must bring it to a basin of warm water, a little dish soap (mir)
a cleaning kit in the caliber of your tree, a toothbrush, a rag ... 

Here's to one of the methods I will show you below as a method
 very effective with a steam cleaner



There are different types of cleaning kit more or less expensive.
Here it that examples:



You must then disassemble your weapon completely

with the user during purchase or go throw

First remove your barrel, you can use déplombant you can buy armory for less than 10 euros, to clean your chimney properly
put a little bit of spray primer to each location.


Then dismantle all chimneys with a key provided for this purpose
 Here's an example of key dismantled fireplace.


 Soak the barrel directly and fireplaces in hot soapy water.



Do the same with everything else,  screws, relaxation, dog, loading lever, barrel etc ...
you can see on the images left by the powder and fat traces these photos were taken after a shoot 4 barrel.






Once all your parts in hot water with a cleaner brushed out all the dirty parts with a toothbrush and a small wire brush


Once all good clean make sure to dry your parts with cloth, hair dryer, air compressor etc ...

As a result dry your weapon hairdryer 


Once completed you should back up your weapon lightly oil it before storage. Here's your weapon is clean and ready for a new shooting session

I use WD40 very useful and wicks moisture
You can spray WD40 on all the weapon well well 
wipe with a soft cloth 


Cleaning steam cleaner

Here's a quick and easy solution for cleaning
 your black powder guns.

cleaner  steam, sending steam under pressure very 
convenient to clean chimneys
 cylinders for example.



It was bought for less than 25 €
